Monday Listicles - Road trip memories with the kids

Can’t believe it’s Monday already.  I’m linking up with the lovely Stasha over at The Good Life for Monday Listicles.  This week’s list is Ten somethings about the Road.  I decided to make a quick list of the "fonder" memories I have from those road trips with my kids OH SO long ago.  Some things you just never forget. I'm sure you can relate to some of my list, even today.  Back then we didn't have DVD players and iPads to keep the younguns busy.  We played road games like "spot the VW Bug" and "Count the Cows".  Yea, a real party it was!   My youngest used to count the cows by exclaiming, "One hamburger, two hamburger, three hamburger..."   Gotta love that boy!   Anyways, here goes:

Road trip memories with the kids - Circa approximately 1975 to 1990 or thereabouts:

Mom!   I gotta go pee!

Mom!   I gotta go pee now!

 Never mind Mom.  I don’t have to pee anymore.

 Mom, can I get another Happy Meal?  My toy broke.

 Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom.  Mom. Mom.

 Mom does Grandpa have Atari?  I can show him Space Invaders!

 Mom I’m bored.

 Mom, are we there yet?

 What?   I don’t smell anything.

  Mom, did you eat all my Tootsie Roll Pops?  Mom!
